2nd Opinion
Any patient has the right for a 2nd opinion.
One reason is that every patient should have the chance to be evaluated on behalf of his disease and a proposed therapy by a second doctor’s opinion. Another reason is that patients should get the chance to be informed about alternatives of anti-cancer therapy.
It’s extremely important that we receive all information (documents, details and results) about your case.
· The allocation letter from the General Practitioner or the Oncologist
· All medical reports (which have a relevance to the tumor)
· All laboratory reports
· All pathology reports
· All radiology reports (Possible as a paper or on electronic device (CD-Rom))
· All nuclear medicine reports (Possible as a paper or ...........CD)
· All other diagnostic investigations (bronchoscopy, colonoscopy)
In rare cases a 2nd opinion could be performed based on exclusive chart consultation.
For quality purposes we prefer to see the patient in our outpatient department.
